THE CIVVIES COLLECTION
The inspiration for this collection is really what got me back into sewing in a big way after I left my jewellery career behind. I wanted to make myself some super comfortable pull-on pieces that were elevated from the sea of branded athleisurewear that was dominating mainstream everyday wear at the time. My vision was to create a reimagined style of “leisurewear extraordinaire” consisting of sweatshirts, joggers, rompers and even onesies. And as it turns out, it was these Tiger tops and sweatshirts that truly kicked off HoA in 2021 after my appearance on the Great British Sewing Bee, where I wore my signature Tiger jumpers across various episodes in the series. This was also the first collection that I made available to 'Buy or DIY', offering the sweatshirts ready made, as well as the fabrics and sewing pattern.
