THE DIASPORA COLLECTION
This is one of the closest collections to my heart because it is probably the one that is most closely linked to my memories of growing up in Trinidad & Tobago. This collection celebrates much of the 'Afro-centric' aspect of the culture that surrounded me growing up, which stays with me to this day. It is one of my ongoing 'non-finite' collections -- i.e. one that I started with my 'Maasai' jewellery collection from Spring/Summer 2015 (the jewellery collection that to this day I am the most proud of) and continue to add to with my explorations into Clothing and Footwear.
