THE HERITAGE COLLECTION
The Heritage Collection for House of Akong is a HUGE passion project that I started in May 2021. Many followers of my work know that I have a real thing for ethnic and world textiles and materials - and for this collection, I have sourced some incredible hand-woven and heritage textiles from around the world and am re-purposing them with minimal waste into intricate garments that celebrate the stories behind each textile, its weaver and its previous life.
